   Weeds can trouble turmeric plants. Do the first weeding after 35-40 days and the second after 60-70 days. This will keep the plants healthy and give good yield.

5. Harvesting Time

   Turmeric crop is ready in 7-10 months. When the leaves start turning yellow, understand that it is time to harvest. After harvesting, good profits can be earned by boiling, drying and storing turmeric.
